CILIP’s Information Literacy Groups (ILG) has appointed co-chairs Laura Woods and Anne-Lise Harding to lead the work of the committee team.
ILG provides a forum of ideas for anyone working in or interested in information literacy. Laura said: “I am excited to be taking up this new role alongside Anne-Lise. I’ve been in- volved with ILG since 2015 and have always found volunteering with the group immensely rewarding. I’ve had so much support in developing my skills and career through volunteering with ILG, as well as making some lifelong friends! I am looking for- ward to co-steering the group and developing our offer.” Co-chair Anne-Lise added: “The extended group have been so supportive and a source of inspiration since I joined in 2015. I am excited to bring back to the information literacy commu- nity and ensure the long history of the group carries on going from strength to strength.” Find out more about ILG at
