WONDERBOOKS Our new collection of children’s picture books have pre-loaded audiobook players bound inside. Each interactive book reads to the child as they follow along, asking


questions and enhancing early literacy skills. (This project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.)


SEED LIBRARY Seasonal varieties of herb, vegetable and fruit seeds are available to check out and plant! Help us create a more beautiful and sustainable Avondale. Up to three seed packets may be taken out in a three-week period. Seed packets are automatically removed from your account with nothing to return and no late fees ever!


STORIES TO GO! Enjoy special take-home kits called “Stories To Go” available for checkout. Developed especially for our youngest patrons, the kits contain five picture books that focus on a single topic and a helpful activity guide to enhance the story telling.

WIGGLERS TO WALKERS (AGES BIRTH – 24 MONTHS) Short stories, songs, rhymes and movement in this language enrichment program designed to boost brain development. Mondays, 10: 15 am & 11 am


PRESCHOOL STORYTIME (AGES 3 – 5) Get your child Kindergarten-ready through picture books, educational activities, cooperative skill-building practice, and play. Bring your dancing shoes and your loudest singing voices!


Tuesdays, 11 am


FAMILY STORYTIME (AGES 0 – 6) Join us every other Saturday for fun, social time with other families to hear stories, sing songs, dance, play and make crafts!


2nd and 4th Saturdays, 2 pm
