Arizona Science Center Saturdays


Children ages 3 to 8 years old will be engaged in hands-on activities and live science demonstrations as they learn about various fun topics that bring science to life. Pre-registration is required. Call (623) 333-2751, email AFERP@avondaleaz.gov or scan QR code to register.


Bounce and Roll Junior Detectives


Screenings educate parents and caregivers on the milestones that their child should be mastering at their age. Activities and educational materials will be provided to parents to promote their child’s development. Resources and referrals will be given to parents if a child is screened with a possible delay in their development.


The areas of development that will be screened are:

Nearly 4 out of 5 car seats are used incorrectly. Attend one of our car seat safety classes to learn how to secure your children the right way. A nationally certified technician will ensure your car seat is properly installed. Car seats may be provided at no cost based on need, results of inspection and availability.

CPR & First Aid Training


Classes are held on the first Tuesday of each month from 9 am to 1 pm. Two-year certification cards will be issued upon successful completion of skills.
