JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX | 11465 W CIVIC CENTER DR Acknowledge, learn, and celebrate! Activities include live music and dance perfor- mances, crafts, soul food, fashion, and educational opportunities.
BLANK CANVAS SUMMER SHOWCASE CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX | 11465 W CIVIC CENTER DR Young emerging artists, look no further! The City of Avondale is hosting its 3rd Annual Blank Canvas Summer Showcase. Participants will be provided with a FREE canvas to use to create an original work of art inspired by each artist’s ideas of beauty, values, and culture. Pre-registration is required. Awards are given by age categories: 5 – 8, 9 – 12, and 13 – 17.
