DIVE INTO FUN AT THE THE AVONDALE AQUATIC CENTER The wait is over; Avondale's public pool opens this Memorial Day Weekend!
Whether you're into river lounging, in-water volleyball, slide racing, or fitness, Avondale Aquatic Center is ready for you! Don't wait—grab your friends and family for a splash!
This exciting new facility boasts three large water slides, a play pool with water-spray structures, a river with splash features, and a water walk challenge course. The lap pool includes a 25- yard, 10-lane competition pool with a learn-to-swim nook and two diving boards. Enjoy "The Wave" shade-structure, canopies, artificial turf, and a deck with lounge chairs for a relaxing hangout. Two snack areas with rotating food trucks are available. Indoors, find men’s and women’s locker rooms, a family rest- room, two rentable multi-purpose rooms, and a first aid room.
Resident-exclusive opening: The Avondale Aquatic Center will have an initial launch for residents only. After a few weeks of operation, we will assess the feasibility of opening the facility to everyone.
Admission is $3 for all ages (non-residents, $5). Early admission purchases are highly encouraged. Purchase admission tickets for up to one week in advance

All children 14 years and younger must be accompanied by a responsible person 15 years or older.
Pool rentals: Bookings will be open at 8 am on the 1st Thursday of the month for the following month.
Multi-purpose room rentals, exclusive for Avondale resi- dents: A private party room can be reserved for those special summer celebrations. This 4-hour rental requires a reservation in advance and is available during Public Swim Hours. Pool admis- sion is not included in the price.
Pool Facility Rentals: Indulge in exclusive use of the Avondale Aquatic Center for your special event, for you and your guests. A minimum reservation of two hours is necessary. The fees also provide access to the Gila multi-purpose room.
