GRATITUDE ROCKS! Help spread gratitude and kindness in our community. Color a rock during one of our programs, take a rock to share with another, or bring a rock you’ve already decorated. Ongoing, check the Events calendar for opportunities to paint your own rock.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME (AGES 2 – 6) This high-energy, interactive program is designed to help get your child Kindergarten-ready through a combination of picture books, educational activities, cooperative skill-building practice and play. Bring your dancing shoes and loudest singing voices! On October 29th dress up in your Halloween best for our annual costume parade around the library!

LETTERS TO CHARACTERS (AGES BIRTH – 12) Visit the Letters to Characters station and leave a letter for your favorite storybook characters! A new character is featured biweekly and personalized replies from the characters are available for pick-up at the Information Desk every other Monday. READING DRAGONS KIDS CLUB (AGES 5 – 12) The library’s Reading Dragons Kids Club rewards reading with trading cards. Stop by the information desk to pick up your Starter Pack, or to collect your weekly set of cards. Join us select Saturdays for Kid’s Club meetings to trade cards, design characters and create lore for your collection!

Stories to Go are special take-home kits developed especially for our youngest patrons. The kits contain fi ve picture books that focus on a single topic and a helpful activity guide to enhance the story telling.
WONDERBOOKS Children’s picture books with pre-loaded audiobook players bound inside. Each book reads to the child as they follow along and even asks them questions about the story.
TEEN BOOK BOXES Teen Book Boxes are available monthly for teens ages 13-17 with their own library card. A Teen Book Box will contain at least one (1) library book to borrow, a review card and 2-3 fun items to keep.
