RENOVATION PROJECTS :
Civic Center Park Project Budget – $4,132,000
The City continues to improve the Civic Center Campus with a new neighborhood park! Next door to the Civic Center Library and across the street from the Aquatic Center, the new Civic Center Park will include open turf areas, a picnic ramada, small covered playground, numerous shade trees, and a "food truck alley." The park will even have benches designed to mimic the spines of books held on a shelf to create a true expansion of the existing library so patrons can head straight outside to start reading! The park is expected to open to the public summer 2025.

The Fiscal Year 2025 Pavement Management Program will impact over 70 lane miles throughout the city. This includes work on 14 neighborhoods, two collector roads, and two arterial roads. A variety of treatments will be used, such as cape seal, micro seal, PMM surface treatment, liquid road surface treatment, and crack seal. By employing these preventative maintenance activities, we aim to extend the lifespan of the existing pavement surfaces as much as possible, thereby minimizing the need for full street reconstructions. For updates and information on where the three contractors will be working next, please stay tuned to
