GROWING TAPA IN EMEA POLICE SUCCESS

LET’S TALK TRAINING
Our training programme, and the number of members joining our courses, are bigger than ever before. We are also making our trainings more automated and flexible, and offering value-added courses such as Driver Training and the new TAPS Remote Virtual Auditing course in response to requests from our members. We can also do more. Talk to us about your training requirements and where you see gaps in the market for us to provide a solution. We are also able to provide in-company training for larger member organisations. Markus Prinz, our Senior Manager Trainings & Standards, is your point of contact at

THANK YOU!
June 1, 2021, marked my second anniversary as President & CEO of TAPA EMEA. It is a role and a responsibility I am so proud to hold, and it is a privilege to be able to work on a full-time basis with our great team and, of course, our outstanding members. We are on an amazing journey to deliver more benefits to our members, to grow our TAPA EMEA Family, and to develop new solutions that drive the highest levels of supply chain resilience.
I thank you all most sincerely for your fantastic support and trust. Together, we are building a great future for TAPA EMEA.
VIRTUAL REALITY
We have now chosen our technology partner for TAPA EMEA’s first virtual conference, which will take place during the week of 8-12 November – and I am confident the event will provide some fantastic opportunities for learning and networking for all our delegates, Premier Partners, sponsors and exhibitors.
Of course, in 2022, we look forward to being able to meet face-to-face once again but I also see great potential for more virtual events as a platform to bring more benefits to our members. In November, we will open up our conference registration to our biggest-ever audience, and we are putting together an agenda that delegates won’t want to miss.
We are also very conscious of providing as many opportunities as possible for members and delegates to engage in live chats, video calls, and to be able to source and download useful, supporting information which can enhance their supply chain resilience programmes. The technology we are using will give us these opportunities. More news to follow…
NEW RECRUITS Please join me in welcoming three more additions to our growing TAPA EMEA team.
Tamara Bially joins us in a part-time role in Germany and brings experience of working in logistics and supply chain businesses. Tamara is supporting Markus Prinz as we continue to increase our training provision for members in EMEA and improve our organisational processes.
I am also delighted to introduce Jurrie Zaat and Hans Sebastiaan Heller (Bas), who will be with us for the next six months as part of their study internships. Jurrie and Bas are studying International Business Studies.
Tamara Bas Jurrie
During their time with us, Jurrie and Bas will help to enhance the quality of information in our new CRM system, which will play an important part in our account management and membership engagement processes, and be approaching prospective new members in our region to highlight the benefits of joining the TAPA EMEA Family.
WHICH SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS
IMPRESS YOU MOST? At TAPA EMEA, we are always looking to learn from other subject matter experts and to pass on their knowledge and expertise to our members.
I know you will all be meeting outstanding experts as you participate in various meetings and events, and I invite you to nominate to us anyone who you think would make an interesting contributor to our Vigilant magazine or who would be a strong addition to our list of conference speakers and panelists in November.
