About us
Stirk House Hotel is a busy wedding and events hotel located in the beautiful Ribble Valley. The property is built around a 17th century manor house and is surrounded by pristine patios and gardens and extends in total to around 18 acres of woodlands. We offer 34 bedrooms for overnight stays, a beautiful restaurant, extensive public areas and excellent function spaces with the largest ballroom and function suite in the area, which can hold up to 280 people for a seated event. Our staff team are exceptional, providing a warm welcome and excellent service to all guests.
Our achievements and future plans
Our biggest focus over recent years has been to invest in the property and our staff team to create a beautiful venue to host a wedding or event, and to provide excellent meetings and conferences facilities. We have received a number of awards from the wedding industry to reflect this. Our future plans are to continue building the business and opportunities.

For us, the biggest benefit is the rural escape we can offer but within easy reach of larger towns and cities. We are located on the A59 so have great links for business and wedding guests who may be travelling to us from a long distance, but once they arrive at the property, they are totally immersed in the countryside and get to enjoy the space, tranquillity and beauty that it has to offer.

Zara Moon Architects is a creative Architecture and Interior Design Studio specialising in bespoke homes on sensitive sites for unique clients. Sustainability, wellness and lifestyle are at the heart of every design, with the ultimate goal to improve lives. We provide architectural, planning consultancy, interior design and project management services in-house.
Our achievements
Since setting up the practice in 2017, we have worked on over 200 projects, 90 per cent of our projects being on highly sensitive sites with a 96 per cent planning success rate. The practice has recently evolved to provide Interior Design services, and are currently project managing construction projects equating to £10m. We are specialists in achieving planning permission on sensitive sites, including green belt, open countryside, AONB, and Conservation Areas whilst always pushing the boundaries of design in rural areas.
