ONLINE LEARNING Amnesty’s Human Rights Academy

We offer supporters a wide range of online courses through Amnesty’s Human Rights Academy. The courses are free, self-paced and cover issues and key campaign work, including:

• Economic, Social and Cultural Rights – how rights such as health, education, housing and work are protected under international human rights law. • The Right to Protest – why protest is a fundamental human right, how it is under attack and how it can be defended. • Don’t Prevent Rights, Protect Them – an introduction to the government’s Prevent duty.

• Human Rights Defenders: A short guide – who they are and the issues they face.

• Introduction to Human Rights Advocacy – tools and strategies needed to plan and deliver effective advocacy. • An Introduction to Child Rights – what child rights are, how they differ from adult rights, and the responsibilities of governments to protect them. Explore the full range of courses and join: academy.amnesty.org/learn
