Hardy, field-grown plants grown exclusively for Shumway’s. Safe arrival guaranteed. We begin shipment Feb. 1 and ship through June 1. Plants will ship at the proper planting time for your area. Each bunch contains 50 to 75 plants, depending on the size of the plants. One bunch plants about 20 ft. of row. Onion sets are easy to plant and are quick to harvest. Our sets are mid-long day and yield tender, green onions or early mature ones, about a month earlier than seed. One quart contains approx. 125-150 sets.
