CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY ON THE GARDENS AT LANDIS HOMES The Meadows to Break Ground Soon

xciting progress is being made on the Gardens neighborhood, part of the ongoing expansion at Landis Homes. Much of the site work is complete and utilities are in place for the 35 homes that will be located on the eastern edge of campus. Several of the Sunset Cottages are under


roof and the Creekside Villas are taking shape. Current plans are for the first new residents to move in this fall. Local firm EGStoltzfus is leading the construction efforts.


In addition, demolition and site preparation are set to begin mid-July for the Meadows hybrid homes. Four older cottages and the former Leaman Place building will be removed to make way for Phase One of the Meadows. Warfel Construction has been selected as the builder.


“All 26 of the Meadows hybrid homes in Phase One were quickly reserved,” notes Sarah Short, Director of Residency Planning. When complete, the east campus expansion will add 87 new homes.
