A medieval feast!


Following the AGM in the Tower of London, the Celebrations moved onto a Medieval Banquet just over the road from the Tower Hotel in St Katherine’s Dock. Following a four-course meal and entertainment from Henry VII and his court jesters, AWD members were able to dance the night away.


The next day was taken up by an open top


bus tour of the City and a visit to the top of the Shard from where the views over London were magnificent. In the evening the members wore their best evening wear for a Champagne trip on the London Eye followed by a River Thames Dinner cruise aboard the Erasmus, complete


with Jazz Band before walking a short distance back to the hotel from the pier. On the Sunday a farewell breakfast included


the Chairman’s Raffle Draw, which over the weekend raised £1,500 for ‘The Magic of Play Appeal’. ■
