The World’s largest welding exhibition, Schweissen und Schneiden has over 1,000 exhibitors from around the world. The event, due to take place at Messe Essen in Germany from 16th 21st


to September is virtually sold out.


VISITORS will be able to find many new products and get a comprehensive overview of different welding innovations from around 40 nations. Features of this year's Schweissen und Schneiden


include two stands devoted to Thermal Spraying Technology and Innovative Young Entrepreneurs. In Hall 5 on stand A 120, member companies from the


GTS – Gemeinschaft Thermisches Spritzen e.V. ("Association of Thermal Sprayers") will be exhibiting their latest technology including thermal spraying torches, innovative coating systems for agriculture and the automotive sector as well as turnkey installations for surfacing. They will show how efficient and diverse thermal spraying technology is. Visitors will be able to see how it is possible to surface a wide range of materials such as metals, ceramic, plastic, textiles, wood or glass for applications including the manufacture of turbine blades, sealing rings and printing rollers. In Hall 9 on stand A 133 – A 145 sponsored by the

German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs, seven young companies with innovative portfolios will cover a wide spectrum of joining technology including welding gap clamps for root welding, specialist nozzles and mobile lasers which can also be utilised on ships or drilling rigs. As the exhibition gets nearer, Welding World will be publishing details of exhibitors and their products on show.
