SNAPSHOT Rosa Alvarado, Cotundo, Napo Province I met Rosa at her farm in Ecuador’s Amazon region, where she works with her husband and children. Here, they produce macambo (a cousin of cacao), cacao, coffee and chilli peppers, which they sell to local outlets. I could see the wooden texture of her house and dark interior would make a great portrait, so, before leaving, I asked if she’d mind posing in the window frame for a quick photograph.
