Amani Mara camp takes your African expedition to a surreal world of existence among the elegant and glorious creatures in the heart of Africa, the Maasai Mara. Strategically perched in the Olare Orok conservancy, this peaceful haven promises you spectacular views of the diverse game from the herds of wildebeests and zebras to the ferocious African cats. Being situated in such a pristine and isolated location we provide a truly wild experience where clients are one with nature.
At Amani, we take our responsibility to the environment seriously and take each decision carefully considering the impact on the wildlife and the future. From the very beginning we have ensured that the materials used in our camp are locally sourced and sustainable. Because Amani was founded on barren land, we took this as an opportunity to create a natural habitat. We have planted over fifteen-thousand saplings in a bid to repopulate the area with indigenous trees and shrubs; something we involve our clients with during their stay.
Being located in the Olare Orok conservancy but not part of it, we are able to do extra activities involving the communities around. We offer night game drives; nature walks around the camp and last but not least a picturesque bush dinner which we recommend being combined with the night game drive.
Amani Mara is a family-run camp where your comfort is our priority. We pride ourselves on providing a personal touch experience, from dietary requirements to bespoke safaris. Nothing is too much trouble, after all youll arrive as a client, but youll leave as a friend.
