Miss Guided Safaris BOTSWANA & NAMIBIA

Miss Guided Safaris has forged a way to bring curious and adventurous women together through female-guided, self-drive safaris. Female guests head out into Botswana’s wilderness with like- minded women, led safely by female guides. The safaris embody independence, empowerment and solidarity, while raising awareness of conservation and diversity of cultures. Adventurers will head out in a fully equipped

four-wheel-drive vehicle, enjoying the opportunity to take charge of their own experience. They are actively involved in all aspects of an authentic safari: manoeuvring through deep sand; crossing rivers; learning to read the bush; and respectfully engaging with wild animals while having the security of professional guides leading the team. Miss Guided Safaris familiarises safari-goers

with the driving skills needed before setting off on the sandy bush tracks. All vehicles are connected via two-way radios, giving guests the freedom to communicate with the guides and each other. While driving is an essential pillar of the concept, the accommodation is more flexible,

resulting in three tours designed for different comfort levels and budgets. The Bush Baby Tour (100% camping, 100% self-drive) is for camping enthusiasts who love to get their feet dusty. The Wild Child Tour (50% camping, 50% lodging, 100% self-drive) is for those who enjoy crisp sheets and the occasional dinner service, but still want to experience the thrill of sleeping in the wild. The Luxury Lioness Tour (100% four-star lodging, 50% self-drive, 50% fly-in) combines the luxurious safari lifestyle with the thrill of driving. Travellers will set off in search of elephants,

giraffes and wild dogs in the vibrant Moremi, or try lion-spotting in Savute. They’ll take in beautiful sunsets in the Makgadikgadi salt pans, enjoy a campfire under 4,000-year-old baobab trees and glide through the waterways of the Okavango Delta in a mokoro (dugout canoe). All bush explorations are combined with

interactions with local women. Miss Guided Safaris’ vision is a world of self-confident, mutually supportive and courageous women who fully explore their adventurous spirit.

Don’t miss The thrill of driving your own safari vehicle through the African wilderness, safely guided, yet independent
