Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp NAIVASHA, KENYA


Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp is located on the shores of a vast freshwater lake in Kenya, about a 90-minute drive north west of the capital, Nairobi. The lake is surrounded by a swamp — the area of which varies considerably depending on rainfall — and is home to more than 400 species of bird, as well as a large population of hippos. Bird lovers can enjoy an afternoon of walking around the camp while identifying and documenting the various species of bird. The camp’s 20 spacious, luxury tents are


furnished and have wooden floors, flushing toilets and en suite bathrooms; their ambience and style gives them the look of a traditional tent, yet all the comforts of a modern home are provided too. Nestled amid a wild landscape and a beautiful lake, the tents are designed to blend in with the yellowy-green acacia trees, whose leaves rustle soothingly in the breeze.
