Casa de Campo Resort & Villas LA ROMANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Casa de Campo Resort & Villas spans 7,000 tropical acres on the south-eastern coast of the Dominican Republic and offers an incredible array of facilities including a 370-slip marina & yacht club, polo & equestrian club and state-of- the-art tennis centre with 13 courts. This luxury Caribbean destination is also
home to three championship golf courses designed by Pete Dye, including Teeth of the Dog, the number-one ranked golf course in the Caribbean and Latin America. Guests are offered a whole host of activities
from kayaking along the Chavón River to paddleboarding, polo lessons, clay shooting and deep-sea fishing. If sport isn’t your thing, then why not chill
on the private white sand beach, catch a boat to a nearby deserted island, learn pottery, wander around Altos de Chavón (modelled on a 16th-century Mediterranean village), explore art galleries, stroll around the 370-slip marina or watch a global superstar perform in the outdoor amphitheatre.
The resort opened in the 1970s to an illustrious
crowd of VIPs and Hollywood celebrities. During those early days such notables as Michael Douglas, Henry Kissinger, Joe DiMaggio and Frank Sinatra visited the resort many times, flying in on their private jets right onto the resort’s own airstrip. Fifty years later the resort continues to delight
guests staying at its five-star hotel or in one of its numerous villas with private pools. Guests have eight restaurants to choose from, six of which are included for those staying on an all-inclusive basis. All hotel and villa guests are provided with complimentary golf carts to explore the lush tropical grounds. Casa de Campo is also opening some exciting
new guest facilities towards the end of 2022. Construction is currently underway on the resort’s new Premier Club, which will add 58 stunning new rooms and suites. A brand-new spa is opening in March 2023, positioning Casa de Campo as one of the premier wellness destinations in the Caribbean.
Don’t miss Visit Altos de Chavón, modelled on a 16th-century Mediterranean village, for stunning views, dining and live performances
