Step back in time in Seething Lane Garden Seething Lane is where the 17th-cen- tury diarist, Samuel Pepys, wrote
much of his diary and witnessed the Great Fire of London. Carved pavers throughout the garden refer to the life of Samuel Pepys, including one portraying Pepys’ parmesan cheese and wine — said to be buried in the garden for safe-keeping during the Great Fire of London.

and organic materials
within urban spaces. Resembling a crumbling curved section of wall or a dry-stone shelter on a mountain top, the tactile work features hybrid creatures, from giant snail shells with human limbs to cross-legged snakes.
