Experience the great outdoors and discover wild Wales at Adventure Parc Snowdonia
scapes of Snowdonia and North Wales. Defined by goliath glacial movements from millennia ago, these lush green lands are home to mammoth moun- tains, sweeping valleys and still, scenic lakes. Rich in culture, Snowdonia is asso-
F
ciated with folklore and fairy-tales, which should come as no surprise to those who have glimpsed the sun-dappled gorges where white water tumbles from waterfalls; or the moody mountain summits of the Snowdon massif beneath a black, brooding sky. However, the defining feature of this world-renowned national park is its status as one of the ultimate
ew places in the British Isles can claim to have the same soul- soothing effect as the land-
adventure and adrenaline destina- tions in the whole of Europe, perhaps even the world. Each year, everyone from outdoor
enthusiasts to first-time tourists make the pilgrimage to the beloved park, in search of everything from serene solitude to high-octane experiences. Adventure Parc
Snowdonia prides
itself on a unique offering, encapsu- lating the entire essence of Wales’s longest-established national park. Nestled in the breathtaking belly
of the Conwy Valley, Adventure Parc Snowdonia opened in 2015 as
the
world’s first inland surf lagoon. Since evolving to encompass an entire range of nature-based activities, it stands today as a welcoming hub for everything to do with outdoor
adventure. Tailored to families,
groups, individuals and those visiting with their furry, four-legged friends, the Parc provides a safe environ- ment for surfing, climbing, skating, paddleboarding and a wide variety of other exciting experiences. Te most recent addition to this award- winning destination is the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia, which offers 106 bedrooms, each boasting valley views and adjoining access to a spa and restaurant. Also on site, in terms of accommodation, is an enchanting woodland glamping village where comfortable rustic pods provide cosiness and calm underneath a lush, leafy canopy. You can build your own itinerary based around the activities that most
appeal, whether that’s back-to-back surf sessions on a perfectly engineered wave, or a restorative spa and standup paddleboarding break. Te park is centred around the 980ft freshwater lagoon, which uses pure Welsh fresh- water sustainably sourced from the mountain reservoirs of Llyn Cowlyd and Coedty. Te water is never infused with chemicals, and UV-filtration is used to ensure that no harm is done upon its annual release into the River Conwy. Adventure Parc Snowdonia is also
home to a choice of food and beverage outlets that celebrate local suppliers and seasonal produce, giving guests the welcome opportunity to reward their efforts with flavoursome fare and delicious, fresh coffee.
Aside from the endless experiences
available on site, the Parc provides a luxurious and well-located base for getting out into Snowdonia and the surrounding counties of Wales, which include miles of unspoiled coastline and deliciously dense forests snaked with endless walking and biking trails.
