UPDATES | 13 Look Onboard Emirates Newly Retrofitted Aircraft with NI Travel News

NI TRAVEL News’ Danielle Anderson experienced Emirates newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft which is set to service the Dublin–Dubai route, offering Irish passengers an upgraded experience as they connect via Dubai to over 140 destinations worldwide.

Emirates is now the only carrier to operate a four-class offering from Dublin featuring Emirates’ new Premium Economy cabin, a refreshed Business Class, and enhanced interiors across all cabins.

TRAVEL Counsellors has marked a significant milestone by topping 10,000 Trustpilot reviews, rewarding the loyal customer who posted the landmark review with £1,000 towards their next family holiday. The 10,000 review was posted by a customer of Northern Ireland-based Travel Counsellor Mairead Devine, who will also receive a thank-you from the company for her dedication to delivering exceptional, personal service. Customer Melissa McCloy, the winning reviewer, commented, “We’ve always loved booking with Mairead – she makes everything so easy for us. Winning £1,000 towards our next holiday is such a lovely bonus. We can’t wait to plan our next family adventure and feel really lucky to have placed such a special review of her services and support.” The achievement reflects Travel Counsellors’ ongoing commitment to creating tailor-made travel experiences and trusted relationships with customers, and the company’s consistent 5-star rating, with a 98% customer satisfaction score on the review platform over the past 12 months, is driven by its growing community of over 2,200 independent business owners.

In November 2022, Emirates launched an ambitious project to refurbish 219 aircraft with luxurious new interiors by 2026. The first newly refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft are ready to take off from Dublin after a nose to tail retrofit. This bridges the gap in the market with the new premium economy class. The refurbishment includes upgraded seats and a refreshed interior, with cream tones, textured bronze waves, and the gaff tree motif throughout.

Anita Thomas, Emirates Country Manager for Ireland highlighted, “There’s strong and growing demand from Irish passengers looking for elevated travel experiences, and our new Premium Economy cabin has been extremely well received. It bridges the gap between Economy and Business Class with a level of comfort and value that appeals to both our leisure and corporate passengers. The introduction of our retrofitted aircraft on the Dublin route, alongside our global network via Dubai, marks a significant enhancement in comfort and choice for travellers.”

The premium economy has been very popular

in the Irish market for all ages – specifically for travel to and from Australia.

Strengthening their connection with Irish Market, Emirates have also partnered with Irish businesses for a selection of onboard goodies on the airline’s Dublin routes, including brands like Keogh Crisps, Voya toiletries, and Baileys.

First Class

The First Class Suites on the new Boeing 777 features the latest technology, game-changing zero gravity seats and floor-to-ceiling privacy doors. The middle suites will also feature

virtual windows so everyone can enjoy exterior views above the clouds.
