THE 2025-2026 winter season in the Ladin valley promises to be a memorable one, with the inauguration of the Campitello 3S lift, which will revolutionise ski (and more) mobility in the destination, World Cup skiing competitions and unique experiences in nature.


From 1,000 to 2,177: the hourly passenger capacity that will arrive in just a few minutes from Campitello to Col Rodella in Val di Fassa this winter has more than doubled (and could almost triple in the future) thanks to the 3S lift, set to be the most innovative in Italy. This three-cable gondola lift, which will be inaugurated in mid-December, will replace the historic cable car (opened in 1986) that connected the village to Col Rodella, in the heart of the Val di Fassa - Carezza ski area, at the centre of the Sellaronda and Dolomiti Superski. It is automatically coupled and has 16 cabins that can accommodate up to 30 people each. Heated seats, large windows to bring the peaks inside every ride, futuristic technology However, this is not the only new installation of the season: in the Belvedere ski area in Canazei, the new ten-seater Lezuo gondola lift replaces a chairlift to take passengers from Pont de Vauz to Sas Becè. In the Carezza Dolomites ski area, on the other hand, skiers will find the new ten-seater Franzin gondola lift in place of the historic ski lift, transporting skiers from Moseralm to Franzin Alm. Finally, in the San Pellegrino Ski Area, the Cima Uomo chairlift has been upgraded from a two-seater to a four-seater. Ski stars light up the valley When snowflakes whiten the peaks, the spotlight of world sport turns to Val di Fassa. The fate of the Women's Alpine Skiing World Cup will be decided in the Ladin valley with the penultimate races of the season: on 7th and 8th March, the La VolatA slope in the San Pellegrino Ski Area will host a downhill and a super-G. In these two challenges, the snow becomes the stage, the athletes take centre stage and the valley, once again, thrills the world. Mark your calendars a few weeks in advance for the Ski Cross World Cup, also at the Ski Area San Pellegrino: on 30th and 31st January, along a 1,300-metre track, featuring jumps and parabolic curves, the sixth and seventh races of the season will be held, the last test before the Winter Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina. The SKILV Cup Val di Fassa competitions are also scheduled from 12th to 23rd January and from 6th to 27th March. On 25th January, the 53rd Marcialonga di Fiemme e Fassa takes centre stage, while from 13th to 15th March there is the “Scufonèda”, a free heel skiing festival.


Italian skiing champions train on the legendary slopes of the Ladin valley, in particular the Ski Stadium Aloch in Pozza and La VolatA in San Pellegrino, to prepare for the big challenges of the season.

valley, you can enjoy special sensations from dawn with "Trentino Ski Sunrise": there are 7 events over three months in every ski area in the valley,

example, the Marcialonga di Fiemme e Fassa trail or the loops of the Alochet centre in San Pellegrino. Walks, passion and taste in Val di Fassa The Dolomite environment in Fassa can also be fully appreciated in (seemingly) simpler experiences,


such as winter


excursions in the valley floor, often themed loops around the villages from which they depart and arrive, and at high altitude. This winter, more than fifteen of these trails will be specially groomed to make walking on snow even more enjoyable, thus meeting the needs of guests who love to discover the most diverse aspects and corners of the area. The most authentic contact with nature can be experienced with “Forest Bathing”, which can be tried on several occasions in Val di Fassa, even in winter: a forest bath, with expert instructors, awakens all the senses and frees the mind.


But you can also be amazed by horse riding


in the snow, following wonderful itineraries almost in symbiosis with your horse, or by short tours on horse-drawn sleighs. Those who love to be pampered after days spent in the crisp air of the cold months should not miss the Aloch spring in Pozza, the spa capital of the Dolomites. There are two options available to you; the Terme Dolomia, renowned for its treatments and therapies (covered by the national health service), and the QC Terme Dolomiti. This centre covers more than 4,000 square metres of whirlpool baths, Kneipp courses, waterfalls, Japanese baths, steam baths, saunas and bio saunas, salt rooms and massage areas. An event that has been captivating visitors to Val di Fassa for thirty years is the “Dolomiti Ski Jazz” festival. From 6 to 15 March, over twenty concerts, street parades and jam sessions will allow you to vibrate together with the
