ON Friday (16th August), NI Travel News and agents joined Travel Solutions and Carnival whilst
stepping onboard Carnival Cruises’
‘Carnival Legend’ as she docked in Belfast. This spirit-class ship was launched back in 2001 and christened by Dame Judi Dench and has since undergone refurbishment in 2024! Whilst onboard, agents enjoyed a presentation from Luke Smith (Director of UK & International Sales), where they heard all about the exciting future of Carnival Cruises. Agents also had the chance to see what the ship has to offer via ship tour, demonstrating its ‘something for everyone’ attitude, including a waterpark for both small kids and big kids! The ship has been colourfully designed and inspired by Camelot & Merlin with much to wonder at
whilst onboard – guest favourites
such as the Cloud 9 Spa (previously the spa) and Fahrenheit 555(previously the steakhouse) have been upgraded for guests. Many Thanks to Travel Solutions & Carnival for having us onboard the wonderful Carnival Legend! Carnival Cruise Line has revealed it is working with tour operator Travel Solutions to grow trade awareness and sales in Northern Ireland. Independent agents will now be able to use Travel Solutions’ platforms to book Carnival packages for their clients.
