Marine Futures Internship

We have teamed up with The Crown Estate (who manage the majority of the seabed), renewable energy company Ørsted, and Natural England (the Government’s nature conservation advisors), to offer a unique opportunity for a recent marine graduate.

Lydia Tabrizi, graduated from Bangor University last year with degrees in Marine Biology and Marine Environmental Protection. Over the past 12 weeks she has been developing a range of skills and work- based experience to gain employment within the sector.

Reflecting on her internship after the first month, Lydia said: “This internship is giving me the opportunity to enhance the skills and knowledge I learnt at university – and putting them into practice! It’s exciting – every day is different and I’m enjoying visiting different workplaces and working with different companies.”

Lydia has spent the summer gaining experience as a marine intern
