INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION, BREGENZ 2021
Europe’s Investment Casting International Conference & Exhibition is set to come to Santander in the green north of Spain. The event will represent the comeback to the physical encounter among Investment Casting stakeholders following two cancellations due to the pandemic and a lot of expectation is associated to it. The theme selected for the conference is “Materials & Supplies - Challenges for the Investment Casting Industry”. The post pandemic, economic turnout is defining a new scenario where materials, supplies and logistics behave differently as previously experienced representing new challenges for the Investment Casting Industry. These new challenges together with their impact on technology manufacturing and service shall be reviewed at the conference. The EICF reserves the right to modify the Conference date to a later date within 2022 should the evolution of Covid-19 crisis advises so.
CONFERENCE ORGANISERS The conference is organized by the European
Investment Casters’ Federation (EICF). EICF is the leading trade association for Investment Casting in Europe. Its key functions are to represent the interests of the European IC community, and to promote IC technology throughout the world.

VENUE Santander, Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos TO PRESENT A PAPER
Authors are invited to submit abstracts of papers for presentation in the Technical Sessions of the Conference based on the event theme “Material & Supplies - Challenges for the Investment Casting Industry”. These should be of
original and unpublished work. Commercialism in presentations, will not be permitted. Papers
TCC (Technical Conference Committee). It is planned that technical sessions will each contain three or four presentations, with 20/25 minutes scheduled for each paper, plus 10/5 minutes for questions & discussion. When assessing submitted papers, the TCC will
consider: i. the originality and novelty of the subject ii. process or product improvement iii. scientific outcome of R&D iv. progress in manufacturing improvements v. comparisons with competitive processes and cast products vi. the standard of the paper and its consistency with the conference theme
Presentations shall be submitted in PowerPoint format (*.pptx).
October 2021 ❘ 9 ® shall be allocated to the session by the
AUTHOR ABSTRACT DEADLINE Abstract Deadline: 15th December 2021 (please note
that abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be accepted).
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Presentations from the Conference technical sessions shall be published in the Conference Proceedings File and these will be made available to delegates through registration in digital format. Past seminar & conferences proceedings are also available through
