than challenging, but Waltek has been able to operate and serve customers by partnering with close to 20 industry casting firms to ‘get parts into metal’. It then has in-house finishing operations which were undamaged in the fire to complete parts for customers. "This would not have been possible without the help of the ICI staff who immediately helped make important connections, and equally important are the strong partnerships Waltek has established across the industry with casting companies willing to open up capacity and help. Waltek wants to extend a huge THANK YOU to the ICI and all of its investment casting partners! This is a great industry with terrific people, and Waltek looks forward to being an engaged part of the ICI going forward," Jim Bartel, CEO, Waltek Inc.
