not completed all listed actions. However, the Ceramic Mold work center is entirely caught up and has zero past due. The bottleneck for the BIMAC- Kadant value stream is no longer within the molding area and has shifted to Finishing and outside vendors. We are in a position to supply Kadant with faster turnaround than waiting for containers from Asia – a strategic business result. A side benefit is that the people of this work center are now temporarily “free” (zero past due) and can be shifted to help to improve another area(s). We are at another decision point: Where to continue next Kaizen? Should we branch out to warehouse stocking and replenishment of other raw materials? Should we follow the value stream into the Foundry? Into the Finishing work centers? We have a long way to go to achieve
100% delivery performance to all our +70 individual active customers, many with common value streams.
