Call for Papers! Pittsburgh: A Bridge to Technology 72nd Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition
drive industry progress. Papers should address technical advancements, cost reduction, improved quality or continuous improvement techniques that enhance competitiveness. Of greatest interest are technologies and methods that will have an immediate impact on a foundry operation or that will make casting manufacturers more competitive. The ICI also seeks papers from suppliers for the “How It’s Made” category. Foundry collaboration on “How It’s Made” presentations are not required. All papers should be prepared and presented in English. To be considered for this year’s Technical Conference, papers should adhere to the following criteria: • The paper must be technical in nature and not a sales pitch. (Commercialism of any kind will not be accepted).

• The paper should represent a collaboration with or data from a foundry where the topic of discussion has been applied.
• Co-present with or reference to a foundry by name in your paper and presentation is required.
The 72nd Technical Conference & Expo to be hosted by
the Investment Casting Institute at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 28 – October 1, 2025 which is after the World Congress on Investment Casting in Kobe, Japan. We are excited to see you in Pittsburgh this fall! Abstracts are due no later than April 15th. Please send abstracts to
