FROM THE PUBLISHER

WELCOME TO OUR FIRST EVER 100-PAGE ISSUE OF D.O.M. MAGAZINE!

In your hands (or on your screen if you are reading our electronic version of the magazine) is our fi rst ever 100-page issue! Tying in with Same Haycraft’s philosophy, our success isn’t because of the hard work that we have done. Our success is thanks to our readers and advertisers. We couldn’t have risen so quickly to become the leading maintenance management magazine without your support, so thank you! This month I have couple of things to

share with you. For one, we have fi nished planning our 2017 editorial package for D.O.M. and 2017 is certainly shaping up to be another growth year for us. For starters, we are adding our 11th

than a half-dozen of these events I would consider them as “must attend.” In fact, these are becoming so popular that they are frequently selling out of exhibitor space. There are several aspects of these

NBAA Regional Forums that make them interesting. For one, the events are held at local airports – often sponsored by a maintenance facility or large corporate MRO on the airport. From a networking perspective, you are “inside the gate” of the airport, rubbing elbows with other industry experts, vendors, and of course NBAA representatives. Second, the size of the venue and the

issue next November,

which will be another digital exclusive issue. Increasing D.O.M.’s frequency to 11X allows us continue to deliver more editorial information to our readers while providing a platform for our advertisers to be in front of our readers on a more consistent basis. As I said before, our bonus digital issues

aren’t replacing our print issues – they are an addition to our previous off ering of print magazines, and we invite you to read this additional content either online from your web browser (go to www. dommagazine.com and register to read) or from your iPad, iPhone or android device/ tablet (go to Apple’s App store, or Google Play). It’s easy and you won’t want to miss the exciting information that can be seen in our digital issues that includes live links to advertisers as well as advertiser and educational videos. For our advertisers who are planning

your marketing for 2017, we have our entire 2017 Media kit online at www. dommagazine.com/advertise. The second thing I want to share, in case

you don’t already know, is the existence of a signifi cant educational and networking opportunity that is happening around the country every year and is likely right in your back yard – the NBAA Regional Forums. Two years ago, I began regularly attending NBAA Regional Forums around the country and after attending more

number of booths (which are typically 5 x 10 booths) are manageable for a one day event. It’s very easy to walk around and talk to all of the vendors taking note of new products and talking to some of the vendors that you are already working with. From what I have observed, most of the vendors’ key people (owners/managers) are in attendance at these events which makes it easy to get the information you need! Next, the venues off er a series of

presentations/courses on topics such as How Globalization Impacts Business Aviation, regulatory updates from NBAA, aircraft appraisals, and more. In addition, there is always a full contingent of aircraft from the key business aircraft manufacturers on display in the static area at the show – allowing you to peek at, and inside, some of the most sophisticated aircraft available for business aviation today. Finally, you never have to leave the show

fl oor. Lunch is served (FREE) at the event on the show fl oor! All of this costs only $95 for the day (Non-members pay $115) in advance. Upcoming events next year are January

26th, 2017 in West Palm Beach (PBI), March 23, 2017 in Fort Worth (FTW), and September 7, 2017 at Morristown Airport, NJ (MMU).
