Azura Retreats to reopen hotel in


Mozambique as eco-chic property Azura Retreats has acquired a hotel in Mozambique that it plans to convert in time to welcome guests later this year. The hotel on Benguerra Island, previously known as Marlin Lodge, will reopen as an ‘eco-chic’ boutique hotel. It will have 20 rooms, sleeping more than 50 guests, when reopened. Avani expands in Africa with

Club Med reveals details of new ski hotel in La Rosière


Club Med’s new property in the French ski resort of La Rosière is due to open on December 13. The four-star hotel, on


the edge of the Tarentaise mountains, will have 43 suites and a private lounge with exclusive services. The resort, which is now


bookable, will feature two restaurants, two bars, a spa, steam


rooms and relaxation zone. The main restaurant will have a special Snowball Room for families to have meals together, while there will be a Calm Lounge for adults. Childcare will be available


for those aged from four months to 17 years old, including ski lessons from four years upwards. There will also be a Club Med ski garden in front of the mini club


ski room and a heated indoor paddling pool. The resort offers guests the


chance to ski in both France and Italy on the Petit Saint-Bernard Pass and take part in activities such as a dogsled experience. Prices start from £1,515 for a
