Rabbie’s unveils its debut programme of tours in Europe

Small-group tours specialist Rabbie’s has put its debut range of European touring holidays on sale. The operator is offering itineraries in Italy, France,

Spain, Portugal and Switzerland for the first time. The tours, in coaches for up to 16 passengers, aim to

travel beyond city centres into lesser-known regions. Most of the itineraries are six, 13 or 20 days, but longer options include a 27-day Great European

Expedition and 41-day European Roamer. A six-day tour called Cinque Terre, Florence & the

Flavours of Tuscany, from Nice to Rome, costs from €1,299, including shared accommodation and the services of a driver-guide. A 55-day Grand Europe Tour costs from €11,434 and departs from Paris to explore

France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. rabbies.com

Exsus targets continued bookings growth through trade

Exsus Travel plans to target more new business through travel agents this year after doubling turnover in 2019. The luxury tailor-made

operator, which features about 100 countries, is to host agents at regional dinners and on two fam trips. It will also repeat its agent awards, launched last year, in July.

Exsus started to work with

the trade for the first time 18 months ago and now gains half its business via agents – a third of it from Aito Specialist Travel Agents. The operator has doubled its

sales team from seven to 14 to deal with the rise in bookings. Head of trade sales Neil Sealy said Exsus planned to recruit an

on-the-road sales executive. He added: “There is scope to get more business. We don’t yet work with all the consortia and there are lots of new agencies opening.” Referring to the agent events,

he said: “We will keep these all going because we want to keep

thanking agents for their support.” exsus.com
