Viking reveals Nile river sailings in 2026
Viking has released its 2026 Nile sailings, with its 2024 Nile season “nearly sold out”. Set to launch in 2025, Viking Sobek will sail the 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary – a three-night hotel stay in Cairo and a seven-night round- trip voyage from Cairo calling at Luxor, Qena, Esna, Aswan and Edfu. itineraries, including Splendours of Egypt & The Nile with Sharm El Sheikh & The Red Sea, costing from £7,239; India’s Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges with Varanasi, from £7,100; and Timeless Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong with Ha Long Bay, from £6,800. New for 2024 is the Cruise & Rail: The Sacred
Ganges and The Maharajas’ Express itinerary from Mumbai to New Delhi, which includes an extra stop at Fatehpur Sikri. The 16-day trip leads in at £18,629. To thank the trade for its support during a “bumper

P&O Cruises and Cunard boost onboard Wi-Fi with SpaceX Starlink
P&O Cruises and Cunard have pledged improved onboard Wi-Fi with the introduction of SpaceX Starlink. P&O Cruises’ Britannia and Azura have added it to public spaces and it will be available on Arvia, Iona, Ventura, Arcadia and Aurora by the end of the year. Cunard’s Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth will also feature the technology by the end of 2023.
