Swan Hellenic unveils new dining
experience by young restaurateurs Swan Hellenic has partnered with JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs to create Maris, a dining experience on board Vega and Diana. JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs is an association of young restaurateurs and chefs in 15 countries. Each Maris chef will produce signature dishes, host a gala dinner and put on a cooking show. Maris will be officially launched during Diana’s naming ceremony on May 4, with food showcased by three chefs.

Avalon Waterways has launched a collection of no-fly cruises in partnership with Eurostar. The river cruise line has
unveiled five itineraries for 2023 and 2024 departures that can be combined with Eurostar: Tulip Time; Active and Discovery on the Seine; Paris to Normandy; Active & Discovery Holland & Belgium; and Grand Tulip Cruise. Passengers can take the
Eurostar from London to Paris or Amsterdam, from where they will join their river cruise. The lead-in price for the seven-night Active & Discovery in Holland & Belgium itinerary is £1,918, based on a July 21 departure. Sales and marketing director
Janet Parton said: “Travel agents and guests have been asking us for no-fly cruises and we have listened. It’s a more sustainable and hassle-free way to explore Europe.”

to board Eclipse II Agents will be able to visit new luxury yacht Scenic Eclipse II when it visits the UK this year. The 220-passenger Scenic vessel will operate a debut summer season in the Mediterranean and make its first visit to the UK in September with a round-Scotland sailing.

Ambassador launches VR tour of Ambience and chance to win prizes
Ambassador Cruise Line has created an augmented reality tour of its maiden ship Ambience, offering prizes via a virtual treasure hunt. Available on the ‘Let’s Cruise’ app on Apple and Android, the line said the AR technology and 360° video content, accessible without downloading the app, could be used by agents to showcase its onboard product to clients.

P&O Cruises to mark Britannia anniversary with British sailing

P&O Cruises has unveiled a 10-year anniversary sailing on flagship Britannia for 2025 as well as new
Mediterranean ports of call on Arvia and Arcadia. Britannia’s 14-night British Isles cruise will visit
Belfast, where guests can explore The Giant’s Causeway, and features an overnight stay in Liverpool. Prices start at £1,179 for an inside cabin. The line has also unveiled a 16-night British Isles
cruise on Aurora, with the operator’s first call at Waterford in Ireland since 2015. Prices start at £1,529. In the Mediterranean, Arvia will call at two new
ports: Toulon, with shore experiences in St Tropez, and Malaga, where guests can visit the Picasso Museum or hike the gorge of Caminito del Rey. Prices start at
£849 for an inside cabin. Arcadia’s 19-night Mediterranean holidays will include a maiden visit to Granada in southern Spain. Guests will have the chance to see the Alhambra,
which is considered one of the finest Islamic buildings in Europe. Prices start from £1,729 for an inside cabin. New Norway and Scandinavia itineraries have also
been added. They include a 16-night Northern Europe and Scandinavia cruise on Aurora and a 14-night Northern Europe and Scandinavia cruise on Britannia. The latter features an overnight stay in Copenhagen. Other maiden calls for the line include Aurora’s visit
to Rockland in Maine on its US and Canada itineraries. Introductory offers include a 10% saving on selected
cruises and a 10% low deposit offer. The new summer 2025 collection for sailings between March and October goes on general sale on April 28.
