The operator is using the


Travelink reservation platform, powered by Inspiretec, to make holidays by air available for agents to book in ‘real time’ through its esite reiously, soe flit holidays were available but agents had to ring the call centre for availability and prices, and to book. Shearings will also launch a new selection of holidays by air in its second-edition Europe brochure, due out in the next few weeks. This will feature some new destinations for Shearings that have not been easily accessible by coach, or are too far to travel to by road on a seven-night holiday. Jane Atkins, managing director, said: “This is about saving agents time, offering greater choice to meet the needs of a wider customer base, and allowing agents to be more dynamic. Balkan sells winter 2019-20 range early to satisfy demand


Balkan Holidays has put its 2019-20 Winter Ski & Snowboard programme on sale early this year because of high trade demand. The programme, which includes ski and snowboard holidays to Bansko, Pamporovo and Borovets, all in Bulgaria, has been brought forward to December 11. The full programme goes on


sale after Christmas. Prices start from £299 for a


self-catering apartment in Bansko, departing in late March 2020. Also on offer are free child
