Titan unveils 10-day Hawaiian Islands Discovery tour
Escorted tours specialist Titan Travel has introduced a Hawaii holiday for 2020. The Hawaiian Islands Discovery
tour features a visit to Pearl Harbor and Volcanoes National Park, plus coach tours exploring Maui, including Haleakala National Park and the Kahului coast. The holiday costs from
£3,649 and includes 10 nights’ accommodation, five excursions, VIP door-to-door travel service and Virgin Atlantic flights from Heathrow, via Los Angeles. The escorted tour costs from
£3,349 which includes flights, 11 nights’ hotel accommodation, and 12 excursions, including a cruise to see Prince William Sound and Columbia Glacier. Andy Squirrell, Titan managing
director, said the US has retained its spot as the operator’s most popular destination thanks to its range of classic and off-the- beaten-track itineraries, and a resurgence in long-haul bookings. Other new escorted tours for
2020 include Southern India – Boulevards and Backwaters, from £1,999 for 13 days, and Zimbabwe – The Path to the Smoke that Thunders, a 14-day holiday costing from £4,499. Both include flights from the UK.

Prestige boosts escorted tours range with five short breaks

Prestige Holidays has added five short breaks for 2020, along with several longer-haul holidays, to its growing range of escorted tours. The maximum tour group size
is 26 and the holidays feature in a standalone brochure and on a dedicated Prestige Tours website. Packages start at £1,149 for a
new four-night Northern Ireland cultural break, which visits Belfast, the Giant’s Causeway, Titanic Museum and Bushmills whiskey distillery. It includes flights and bed-and-breakfast accommodation at the Europa Hotel. Other new four-night breaks feature Emilia-Romagna, Naples,
Marrakech and Istanbul. New longer tours include the
nine-day Island Hopping the Cyclades holiday, which visits Athens, Santorini, Naxos, Mykonos and Delos. It costs £1,999 and includes flights and bed-and- breakfast accommodation. An eight-day Discover Slovenia
tour visits Lake Bled, Postonja and Ljubljana, and costs from £1,799, with flights and bed-and-breakfast accommodation. A 10-day A Taste of the Holy
Land tour explores Israel and the Palestinian Territories, and includes the Masada fortress and Caesarea, the one-time domain of Herod the Great. It costs £2,649 including flights and bed-
and-breakfast accommodation. A 12-day tour called
Uzbekistan: Jewel of the Silk Road features the desert ruins of Khiva and city of Samarkand, for £2,389. Eleanor Spawton, travel co-
