NEWS YOU CAN USE GREEN LIST
Operators and airlines reacted to the government’s traffic light announcement by piling on capacity and making tests available. Here’s your round-up of the key developments
Sunvil serves up two PCR tests in packages to the Alentejo region
Sunvil is including two PCR tests for clients booking trips of five nights or longer to the rural Alentejo region of Portugal. The operator announced the
inclusion – worth around £120 – after Portugal was placed on the government’s green list. Packages includes one PCR
test prior to departure from the UK and one 48 hours after customers return to the UK. It means clients will only have
to pay for one test in-destination prior to their return to the UK. The Alentejo region includes
capital Evora, the historic centre of which is a World Heritage Site. Sunvil combines the Alentejo
with Sao Miguel in the Azores in a seven-night package, from £1,072. It includes three nights’ B&B at The Place at hilltop town Evoramonte and four nights at the Quinta Do Mar, return flights, car hire and two PCR tests.
