Journey Latin America adds two tours in new range

Journey Latin America will feature two new tours in its latest escorted groups brochure, which is due out on May 31. Magellanic: Southern Voyage
is a 12-day tour which starts in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires. It visits that country’s Lake
District, Los Glaciares National Park and the Valdés Peninsula nature reserve. The tour costs from £3,869, based on two sharing,
but not including flights. The second new tour is
Toucanet: Cities and Cascades, which visits Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls. The nine-day holiday costs from
£2,276, based on two sharing, but not including flights. The redesigned brochure will
offer departures from September 2021 up to 2023 and includes details of itineraries, tour leaders, local guides and ideas for customising each tour.

Escorted group sizes range from
a minimum of four to a maximum of 16 or 20 depending on the tour. The brochure features more
than 30 Bubble Tours – a holiday style that was introduced last year to cater for friends and family seeking a private escorted group tour. Journey Latin America will host
a free webinar on May 25, focusing at group tours. It will be led by Carrie
Gallagher, a former tour leader who now works in sales, and will
feature tour leader Jessica de Gier, participating live from Mexico City. They will talk about what it
is like to join a group tour and highlight popular itineraries in Patagonia, Peru, Brazil, Bolivia and Central America. Laura Rendell-Dunn, PR and
business development manager, said: “The webinar will give agents a great insight into Latin America and help them with any training on the area.”
