1. Auria Travel founder Markus Kendall-Young celebrates the opening of his shop in his hometown of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. Town mayor Damilola Ajuri cut the ribbon at the premises on Kilwardby Street. 2. Riviera Travel hosts its fifth agent committee meeting to gain feedback on product development, marketing, training and incentives. Represented agencies and groups included Premier Travel, Travel Club Elite, Silver Travel Advisors, ArrangeMY Escape, Art of Travel, the Advantage Travel Partnership, GoCruise & Travel, The Travel Network Group, Fred Olsen Travel, Hays Travel and Barrhead Travel. 3. A group of 37 agents visit Majorca for a one-day taster of Ambassador Cruise Line ship Renaissance ahead of its inaugural fly-cruise season. The agents were welcomed with a cocktail reception before a ship tour and a Caribbean-themed lunch in the vessel’s Kreole Restaurant. 4. Hays Travel agent Lynn Robinson reopens the branch where she has been serving customers for 39 years, after the store recently underwent a refurbishment. Robinson was invited to perform the honours by Wickersley branch manager Michelle James (far left).
