MSC Cruises expands Jet2 flight capacity by 42% for next year
MSC Cruises’ expanded UK fly-cruise programme for 2026 will be served by extra
Jet2.com flights. The number of seats with the
airline will rise 42% year on year. The programme includes
flights from Belfast, Edinburgh and Manchester to feed cruises on ships such as MSC World Europa, MSC Meraviglia and MSC Seaview departing from cities including Naples, Palma and Rome. A seven-night cruise on Seaview
departing from Barcelona on June 4 starts at £1,309, including flights from Manchester. International sales
vice-president Antonio Paradiso said: “Thanks to our strengthened partnership with
Jet2.com, we now provide more seats on direct flights than ever before.”

Club Med 2026 range includes first property in South Africa

Club Med has put its summer 2026 programme on sale, including its first resort in South Africa. The all-inclusive operator is offering packages at
55 resorts spanning 26 countries, in addition to its Club Med 2 five-masted sailing ship.
Launch offers include discounts of up to 15% on
Standard Rooms, an extra 5% on Premium Rooms, priority places in kids’ clubs and a low deposit of £150 per person. Customers who book flights must pay for them at the same time as the deposit. The new $100 million South Africa Beach & Safari
resort on KwaZulu-Natal’s north coast will open in July 2026. The property combines a beach resort on the Indian Ocean with a safari lodge a short drive away in Mpilo Private Game Reserve.
Jet2 boosts Manchester flights
and holidays to Kefalonia in 2026
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added extra capacity to Kefalonia and extended the summer season to include the autumn school half-term holiday. A new Saturday service from Manchester airport will run from May 2-October 31, 2026. The Ionian island will be served by up to six flights a week from the northwest hub during the season.

Iberostar to open Cancun hotel and to make debut in Zanzibar
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts will open a hotel in Mexico next month. The Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancún hotel will offer more than 440 rooms. In late 2026, the group will also open its first property in Zanzibar – a 360-room, five-star new-build on Muyuni Beach.
