Visit Orlando unveils roadshow dates Samantha Mayling

Visit Orlando will partner with key theme parks on an eight- day travel agent training tour that will include visiting London for the first time.


The tourist board will be


joined by Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and Universal Orlando Resort. The evening roadshows will


feature updates about Orlando’s theme parks, including new hotels, attractions and experiences. Food and drink will also be provided.


There will be an expanded Visit


Orlando Marketplace for agents to have one-on-one meetings with hotel and attraction partners. Agents who go to the events and complete the Orlando Travel Academy before attending will be entered into a draw to win a place


on the Visit Orlando VIP Super Fam in September. The first roadshow takes place


at Glasgow’s Doubletree by Hilton on March 18. Subsequent events will take place at Middlesbrough’s Jurys Inn (March 19); Leeds Marriott Hotel (March 20);


WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT: The park will be represented at the UK roadshows


Renaissance Manchester City Centre Hotel (March 21); Birmingham’s Hyatt Regency (March 25); Doubletree by Hilton, Bristol North (March 26); Portsmouth Marriott Hotel (March 27); and London’s St Pancras Renaissance Hotel (March 28). Travel consultant Tracey
