Shore excursion booking platform My Cruise Excursion plans to add more than 100 itineraries this year.


The German supplier, which


expanded into the UK last year, currently offers 300 itineraries worldwide, independent of cruise lines, for small groups of eight to 12 people. My Cruise Excursion’s portfolio


focuses on the Mediterranean; St Petersburg, Russia; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and the Caribbean.


P&O Cruises’ Iona will sail ex-Southampton for first winter season


P&O Cruises’ new ship Iona will sail from Southampton to mainland Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands and cities in northern Europe in its first winter season. Overnight stays are planned


for Barcelona, Lisbon, Cadiz and Rotterdam during the seven and 14-night cruises between October 2020 and March 2021. Ports of call in Spain, Portugal and the Canaries include Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Madeira, Tenerife, Alicante, Gibraltar, Malaga, Valencia and Vigo. Rotterdam (for Amsterdam), Zeebrugge (for Bruges), and Hamburg are among the northern European cities featured. Pre-registration for the winter
