Leger lines up new tours and cruises in 2023-24 brochure
Phil Davies
Leger Holidays has expanded its programme for 2023-24 with 14 new escorted tours and nine river cruises. A 228-page Europe & Worldwide
brochure covers 25 European countries, including Italy, Austria, France, Germany and Croatia, plus long-haul destinations such as the US, Japan, India and Australia. Tours range from four-day
short breaks to 19-day tours, with departure dates until October 2024. Prices start at £389 per person
with a £50 deposit. The brochure also includes a
selection of motorsport and horse racing events, including Le Mans and The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. All holidays include coach
travel from hundreds of UK joining points, hotel accommodation with breakfast, and specified excursions and other meals. Brochures are available to agents,
including homeworkers, via BP Trade Gate or can be viewed online. Ashley Dellow, Leger Shearings Group head of retail sales, said:

Deposits available for Leger’s new programme
“Customers are eager to continue ticking off bucket-list destinations post-pandemic and agents would be wise to encourage them to start planning now for 2023 and 2024. “There is already demand
for summer 2023; booking early guarantees the place and gives extra time to prepare for holiday costs.” New options include a five-
day itinerary for the Operation Market Garden tour, following in the footsteps of the ill-fated Second World War operation in the Netherlands. The four-night escorted break costs from £549. Also new is an 11-night Paradors
of Catalonia and the Spanish Pyrenees tour, from £2,149. Clients will stay in paradors
– historic Spanish hotels – and visit cities such as Barcelona and Girona, and Carcassonne in France.

First of all, it was lovely to see so many of our travel partners on our beautiful Seabourn Ovation in Portsmouth on October 2nd. I must say it is so satisfying to be able to operate events on our ships once again. As I walked into Seabourn Square, the barista asked me if I wanted a chai latte . . . he remembered me from Seabourn Encore a few years ago!
As we head into autumn, it is time to start thinking ahead
once more. At Seabourn we are really embracing the new. As well as launching expedition ship Seabourn Venture, we have also just published the new inaugural Antarctica itineraries for sister ship Seabourn Pursuit, starting in October 2023.
Expedition has brought so many new learning
opportunities for us – new destinations and experiences to sell and to share with our agent partners. If any of you would like training on selling Expedition, please do email me so we can set you up with one of our Seabourn Expedition experts.
As many of you know, we have been transitioning to become a Seabourn-only team in the UK, and I am really excited to be announcing our new team members shortly. Another new challenge for me is to become involved with our business and our partners in Europe. I lived in Switzerland for some years, but I definitely need to brush up my German!
So 2023 brings an array of amazing new itineraries
and experiences for our guests, as well as, I am proud to say, new opportunities for our travel partners to see SeabournVenture in the UK, sailing from Greenwich on May 12th 2023, when we will also be able to showcase her to partners in London, Dublin and Leith!
Change is good, it makes us
rethink and recharge. I really feel cruise is back now, and with CLIA Cruise Week recently, the industry is working together to get more guests to cruise…long may it continue!
