THIS WEEK’S BEST PICTURES FROM THE FRONTLINE OF TRAVEL

1. More than 50 Not Just Travel agents complete a five-day trek to the ‘Lost City of Colombia’ in Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta as part of a year-long fundraising effort to raise £50,000 for mental health charity Mind. 2. Lufthansa invited more than 80 agents from the northwest, including staff from Hays Travel, Horncastle Executive Travel and Norseman Travel, to Banyan Bar in Newcastle to learn about its flights to Munich from Newcastle International airport, which commence on February 3. 3. Carnival Cruise Line’s sales team visits Bolsover Cruise Club in Chesterfield to share information about the cruise line’s online trade engagement programme Loyalty Rocks. The Carnival team visited 50 UK agencies over three days. 4. Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines host more than 30 agents on a fam trip to Malaysia, including a visit to the Sepilok orangutan rehabilitation centre. Agents from companies including Trailfinders, Virgin Holidays and Travelbag won places on the week-long trip through a booking incentive earlier this year – and flew on one of the airline’s Airbus A350 aircraft.
