Jet2 adds Santorini


flights and packages Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has added Santorini, its 14th Greek destination, for summer 2020. The company will operate twice-weekly flights from Manchester and weekly flights from Birmingham and Stansted from May to October. Jet2.com also confirmed the departure days of its twice-weekly flights to Lisbon from Manchester and Birmingham from April 2020. jet2.com

Tui adds winter-sun flights for 2020-21 from UK regions


Tui has added a raft of winter-sun airline seats for winter 2020-21. There will be 74,000 extra seats


from Doncaster Sheffield. New routes from the airport are to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, both Egypt, Cape Verde, Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, and Cancun, Mexico. There are also additional


flights from Doncaster Sheffield to Lanzarote on Mondays and to Tenerife on Thursdays for next winter. Newcastle gains 38,000 extra


seats for winter 2020-21 with the reintroduction of holidays to Sharm as well as new routes to Tunisia and Hurghada. In Scotland, Tui has added


10,000 winter 2020-21 seats to Sharm from Edinburgh and weekly flights to Hurghada and Sharm from Glasgow from November. The new services are part of


the 400,000 seats Tui announced it would add to its 2020-21 winter programme in November. tui.co.uk

Saga’s new ship targets wine, cricket, food and Beatles fans

Saga is offering five special-interest voyages in the debut programme of its first new-build river ship. The 190-passenger Spirit of the Rhine will sail its


maiden voyage – the Inaugural Cruise with the Bootleg Beatles – from Amsterdam on March 23, 2021. Prices for the sailing start from £1,249. The six-night sailing will feature a performance by


well-known tribute act the Bootleg Beatles and a private tour of the Beatles Museum in Alkmaar. Other ports of call include Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Zaandam. Bookings for Spirit of the Rhine’s maiden season of


15 itineraries – spanning the Rhine, Moselle, Main, Danube and Dutch waterways – opened on Monday. Other special-interest voyages include a Gilbert and


Sullivan on the Rhine cruise and a From Rembrandt to Rubens sailing for art lovers.
