Grand American Adventures becomes sub-brand of Exodus

Grand American Adventures is to cease to exist as a standalone brand as part of a restructure by parent group Travelopia. Sister brand TrekAmerica

will continue to trade as normal with its own brochures, but its London-based team will be integrated with that of sister operator Exodus Travels. From January, Grand

American Adventures will be absorbed into Exodus, effectively

becoming a sub-brand within the later’s programmes. It will continue to offer expert-led tours in North America. Travelopia said all holidays

already booked with Grand American Adventures were secure, and customers and supplier partners were being contacted to explain the new relationship with Exodus. Richard Hanson, who was

managing director of both TrekAmerica and Grand American Adventures, has leſt the business, as has international business development manager Toby Baxter, and “some roles” have been made redundant. Travelopia Adventure and

Exodus managing director Sam Seward said a “significant number” of the core TrekAmerica team had already moved across to Exodus in October. Both brands

share offices in Surbiton, London. exodus.co.uk
