hugely positive. One trend that we have noticed is that we are attracting significantly more guests who have ocean-going experience. In the past, the ocean and


river markets have been quite separate, but this overlap could provide a new opportunity for agents. Looking


to 2021, we expect the Douro and the southern Rhine to be key performers. Demand is always high for the


Douro, as cruises in this region are restricted to minimise environmental impact, and Germany grew in popularity this summer as it was deemed a safer option. We are already seeing signs that this will continue into 2021.”
