and his reindeer, husky sled rides, a guided northern lights night walk, sledging and snow tubing, and are available from December 1 to January 31. Self-catering accommodation is accessible for children with disabilities or additional needs, with a specialist guide on hand to help. Prices start from £1,350 including transfers but excluding flights. Joint owner Paul Roberts said:
“This experience is for anyone, but has been designed so that guests with accessible travel needs can also visit Lapland and experience a special time with Santa.” Lapland experience holidays,
without the Santa experience, are available until March 31.

Sister brands National Holidays and Just Go! Holidays are offering part-deposits of £10 per person for 2021 departures to secure bookings. The offer is available on bookings made by December 24 this year for departures up to December 31, 2021. The rest of the deposit will be due on February 1.

To help agents inspire clients to book, the operator has created suggestions for a spring getaway, including an eight-day Springtime Tulips and Keukenhof Gardens rail and cruise from £1,795 and 10-day Simply Lake Garda itinerary from £1,495.

Great Little Breaks urges the trade to promote 2021 trips

Great Little Breaks is encouraging agents to promote holidays for next year as something for clients to “look forward to” after lockdown. The domestic holidays specialist said more than half
of its bookings were now coming from the trade after agents refocused sales efforts on UK breaks instead of overseas holidays. The hotel package specialist, which started
proactively selling through the trade in January, had targeted about 20% of sales via agents at this point and 50% by the middle of next year. Director of trade relations Chris Cundall said the
progress was “a total shock”. He said: “We didn’t think we’d get anywhere near that but agents have started to look at the UK as a safe destination. We had our best-ever month in August and best-ever September.” The operator is now encouraging agents to focus on

2021. “Our message to agents is to book something to look forward to next year. We have extended availability to next summer so we’re hoping their clients will book something now,” he said. “We’ve had good feedback that UK hotels have
handled Covid well from a hospitality point of view.” Many agents who had not previously sold domestic
breaks had started to work with the operator during the pandemic, said Cundall. “We’ve had some amazing support from agents, who
have been sharing our offers,” he said. “We have had 300 to 400 new agents since August
who have continued to book with us and have started to sell the UK to get some cash in the bank.” The operator plans to put train packages on sale and
offer a range of London hotel packages that had been delayed in recent months. Train packages had been due to go live in August.
