G Adventures and Planeterra have partnered with the Azad Foundation, an organisation that works with disadvantaged women across India, to support Women on Wheels. This programme trains women from resource- poor communities to earn driver’s licenses and become commercial drivers, giving them more social and economic independence so they can support both themselves and their families.


*When G Adventures travellers arrive at the airport on the day their Golden Triangle tour begins, they’ll be met by one of these drivers for a transfer into town. Travellers get peace of mind, and these women get another chance at securing their own self-confi dence, security, and independence.
