SPOTLIGHT ROYAL CARIBBEAN FAM TRIP

How was the trip for you?

Peter Goodwin, Cruise 1st “The whole trip was like living like a millionaire

for four nights and was amazing. Royal doesn’t push the product on you but you get ideas and learn from the other top sellers. I’ll be working hard to make sure I am on future trips they run.”

The Ultimate Abyss slide on Harmony of the Seas

singing and dancing set the tone for a wild night taking in restaurant Crazy About You and nightclub Story. The odd hangover was not

going to deter the agents, most of whom are cruise specialists, from seeing the world’s biggest cruise ship, Royal’s Harmony of the Seas. They toured its 18 decks to see the luxury

secret one too

and 52 trees. And in case you exhaust all the activities on board, there’s a secret, hidden one at level 4.5 (I didn’t find it). This giant ship is a floating

entertainment complex, shopping centre and high street rolled into one. It would be hard to go

bigger still – but that’s exactly what’s coming in March with Symphony of the Seas. It will also have a Bionic Bar; I’ll see you there.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel

suites, theatre, nightclub, robot bartenders and huge range of restaurants before making their way down the Ultimate Abyss, a slide with a 100ft drop that takes cruisers down 10 decks in seconds. Next up was Cuban

cabaret club and restaurant El Toucan, where a lively atmosphere was created by America’s Got Talent star Yoli Mayor and two-time Grammy-winners Marlow Rosado & The Tucán Band – not to mention the showgirls. Morning came and the group was off to celebrity

hangout Nikki Beach, where they ate in the VIP section, frequented by rapper Ludacris and footballing deity Ronaldinho, before the champagne and party parade was laid on at a private cabana. Selfies taken and social

media accounts updated, the agents, who didn’t want the trip to end, left in high spirits. All were intent on having another good year of Royal Caribbean sales so they can bag a place on the next trip that the cruise line insists money can’t buy.

Holly Jones, Tui “We were wined and dined and treated like celebrities...

I’ve never experienced anything like it. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

Naomi Coombes, Woods Holidays “We have been totally spoilt. The

trip was with a fantastic group of people and I hope we can all stay in touch. What other club gives you constant rewards every time you make a booking?”

Kerry Cansdale, Travel Counsellors “I thought the trip would be

good, but I didn’t realise just how mindblowingly good it was going to be!”
